After a film career from 1940 to 1952, she starred in two popular 1950s TV shows, My Little Margie and The Gale Storm Show. Six of his songs are top ten hits. Storm's biggest record hit was her cover of "I Hear You Knockin '", which reached number two on the 1955 Hot 100 chart.
